Limited Medical Plan by USNow

AccessMD, a Limited Medical Benefit Plan, is a popular option for companies of all sizes who cannot afford to offer health coverage or who have uninsured employees who do not qualify for the company plan.  AccessMD provides coverage for common healthcare expenses.  Employers can select benefit options to meet their unique needs and premium requirements.

Why Consider AccessMD

In today's economy, companies are having to make tough decisions - pay soaring insurance premiums, pass the high costs to employees, drop medical coverage altogether, or eliminate coverage for the hourly wage and part-time workers.  However a company that does not offer healthcare coverage suddenly becomes less attractive to current and future employees, thereby increasing turnover rates significantly.

Employers can minimize the high cost of turnover by offering a limited medical plan.  These plans pay a fixed benefit amount for common medical services – doctor visits, diagnostic tests & x-rays, hospitalization, accidents, emergency room, surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, wellness services, and prescription drugs to name a few.

Premiums are reasonable to both employers and employees, ranging from $50 - $250.  Although limited medical plans do not cover catastrophic events, such as terminal illness, they do provide a healthcare alternative that is functional and affordable.

Current industries offering AccessMD - construction, manufacturing, transportation, security guard firms, hotels/motels, convenience stores, skilled nursing facilites, restaurants and staffing.  The markets are endless!

What Sets Our Plans Apart

USNow was instrumental in the innovation and development of the first Limited Medical Benefit Plan and we continue to be the recognized leader in 46 states.  As limited medical plans, or sometimes referred to as "mini-med, hospital indemnity, gap, supplemental or defined benefit plans", have grown to become a viable solution for employers and employees alike, many have tried to reproduce and/or duplicate the USNow model.  We are proud to say, none have succeeded.  USNow AccessMD provides more benefits and services than most carriers.  Our entire organization is dedicated to go above and beyond for our customers and nothing less will be accepted.

Q: Which doctors and hospitals may I use?

A: You are free to use any licensed doctor or any certified hospital. However selecting a provider from our National PPO Network, allows members to save on their medical expenses.  There are no penalties for going out of network.  To locate a provider, call Member Services at 1-800-694-9888 ext. 273.

A: Yes, however, Medicare regards AccessMD as Primary Coverage and may reduce or discontinue your Medicare coverage.

Q: Can AccessMD be used, if the insured has separate health insurance?
